About
A graduate of Applied Arts at the Estienne school in Paris, Grégoire Korganow began his career as a photojournalist in 1991 and immediately developed a personal writing. He worked for twenty years for renowned French and international newspapers (Libération, New York Times, National Geographic, Marie Claire, Le monde…) He became a member of the Métis Agency in 1998, then of Rapho in 2002. In 2001, he co-founded the photo magazine «de l'air» and created and directed, from 1998 to 2003, the collection of photographic books «Avoir 20 ans», published by Alternative.
Since 2012, he has focused on personal work, supported by cultural structures, foundations and institutions. He is regularly invited in residence and his works are exhibited in prestigious places in France and abroad (European House of Photography in Paris, Les Rencontres d'Arles, Visa pour l'image, Three Shadows Art Center, Beijing, China, Triennale de Milan, Italy, Mosaïcografia, Porto Alegre, Brazil…).
